Pudsey Ale Trale

This is really dismal.

Start at the Waterloo and keep walking up towards Pudsey:
PubBeerImpressionHow to Get There
The WaterlooJohn Smiths CaskReally nice pub. Shame it didnt have more good beer really. It must be a first but I tried JS Cask and actually really enjoyed it. The pub was definitely worth a visit.Number 4 bus from Leeds drops you right outside (The Waterloo is the terminus). The bus stop in Leeds is outside Yate's Wine Lodge on Boar Lane. Or you could get the train to New Pudsey. Walk out of the station and down to the end of the road, which is Bradford Road. Turn left at the end and go straight on at the roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and keep walking. The Waterloo's on your left. Walk takes about 15-20 minutes.
The MarshTetleys BitterDidnt think much of this pub. It had Tetleys Dark Mild on as a Smooth and it was awful. The Tetleys that I did have was nice, and there was nothing actually wrong with the pub, I just didnt really like it.Come out of the Waterloo and turn right. The Marsh is about 400 yards on your left.
The Commercial Hotelnonewalked in, walked outCome out of the Marsh and turn left. Keep walking up the Street. The Commercial is on the right.
Kings Armsnonewalked in, walked outCome out of the Commercial and turn left. Kings Arms is next door
Golden Lion?walked past - real townie pub - a bit like the Bay Horse in Farsley. Really loud music, lots of scantily clad 14 year olds. ShiteCome out of the Kings Arms and go back to the Main Street. Turn right and the Golden Lion's on your left.
The ParkWebsters Green LabelIts a bit of a dive this pub, but it was friendly and OK.Come out of the Golden Lion and turn right. Walk down the road and the Park's on your left, on the corner.
The Butchers ArmsSamuel Smiths Old Brewery BitterI liked this pub a lot. Good atmosphere, good beer.Come out of the Park, turn left and walk down the street. The Butcher's Arms is on your right.
The Old RoundaboutTaylor's LandlordThis pub has a really friendly, warm atmosphere and serves a cracking pint of Landlord.Come out of the Butcher's Arms and cross over the road. Turn right towards the traffic lights. Turn left at the lights and walk down the road until you go underneath the viaduct right at the bottom. Turn right at the bottom and the Old Roundabout's on your left, after a few more pubs.
The TravellersBlack Sheep and Tetley's Dark MildFor some reason, this pub seems unable to get any staff that can pull bitter. It's always OK, but you somehow feel that with a bit of care, it would be excellent. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.Come out of the Old Roundabout and turn right. Walk down the road and the Traveller's is on your right.
